Cari Schaffer, DVM, Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Cari Schaffer graduated from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 and has practiced at Lancaster Veterinary Clinic since then. She is now part owner of the practice. Cari enjoys the area of science of medicine and how she can make animals feel better with surgery and medicine. The clients and staff are a special part of her day. Outside the clinic, she enjoys family, soccer, gardening, biking, knitting, reading and cooking. Her family includes her husband Tony and their four children, Jack, Zoey, Sam and Grace. Their family pets include two cats Zala and Sprinkles, three border collies Linus, Casper and Easel, seventeen cows and some mice.
Sally Harper, DVM, Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Sally Harper graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. She was hired by Russ Schnepper in 1988 as an employee and is now part owner of the practice. Sally enjoys working with all animals, but especially large animal clients on their farms to help them take care of their animals and improve their business. Her areas of interest are prevention of disease, herd health consultations and reproductive health including ultrasound. Sally enjoys walking, gardening, cooking, traveling , bicycling and Tai Chi when she is not working. Her family includes husband, Stuart, two children Matt and Erin, Ivan, an 85 lb mutt, and 2 house cats, Mani and Catorce.
Jill Kruse-Drinkwater, Practice Manager, Certified Vet Technician
Jill has worked at Lancaster Veterinary Clinic as a certified veterinary technician since 2006. In 2013, she transitioned to practice manager, but she still helps out as a tech. Her areas of interest are animal care and the human pet bond. Outside the clinic, she enjoys family time, sewing, gardening and being outside. Her family includes her husband Shane and two children, Anna and Henry. Their family’s pets are Lady the border collie, Ike the African grey parrot, Easter the Holland lop bunny, fish and Buttons the sheep.
Alisha Bohn, Certified Vet Technician
Alisha has worked at Lancaster Veterinary Clinic as a certified veterinary technician since 2013. Her areas of interest are dentals, surgeries and being able to meet the clients and pets. Outside the clinic, she enjoys camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with family. Her family includes her husband Andrew and their pets Jordy a boxer pit mix and two cats Cali and Paisley.
Cindy Simpson, Client Relations
Cindy has worked at Lancaster Veterinary Clinic with client relations since 2014. Her areas of interest are the animals and people we interact with. Outside the clinic, she enjoys camping, motorcycle rides and sewing. Her family includes her husband Tom, four children Philip, Tonya, Amanda and Jen. Cindy also enjoys the time she gets to spend with her four grandchildren, Axl, Elijah, Leah and Ryker. Their family pets include Roxy the blue heeler collie mix, Bud the lab collie mix and the cat Sadie.

Debbie has worked at Lancaster Veterinary Clinic with client relations since 2018. Her areas of interest are bonding with the animals and meeting new people. Outside the clinic, she enjoys road trips, yard work, planting flowers, going out to eat and snuggling with her furbabies. Her family includes her one daughter, Becky. Their family pets include Rosie the dog and 7 cats.
