NOW IS CHUTE WORK SEASON

Sally and Andrea have been busy this month preg checking beef cows and vaccinating beef calves. Not that everyone has their field work done, but some days have been too wet to be combining corn or making fodder, so you might as well call the vet!

And that’s not all - the home filled with scents of tasty but possibly unhealthy and dangerous foods, the noise of the door opening and closing as guests arrive makes their hearts race, strangers scares them, and ornaments look an awful lot like toys. Plus there’s the tree - which looks like an indoor bathroom to your dog.

CATS, CATS AND MORE CATS

We were pleased to have castrated a record 480 cats at our free clinic this year. We had only 3 vets working, but with the help of all the staff plus 6 volunteers, we were able to get the cats all done by 12:30. It was a crazy morning with people standing in line outside in the cold wind, but everything ran smoothly. Thanks to all who brought in cats and spread the word of the event.
